Charles Norried, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
My interest in the field of special education and communicative disorders began as a young child. The day my cousin Gabriel was born, I started to wonder about the difficulties that children who have disabilities, must overcome, in order to be able to acquire the skills necessary to be successful in everyday life. You see, my cousin Gabriel was born with Down Syndrome. I learned from an early age that things that I took for granted don't always come easy to every kid.
This interest has grown into a career devoted to providing the proper guidance to help children with needs in relation to their speech and language communication. Following my faith, in service to others, I am continuing to improve upon the skills necessary to support children in their growth toward the ever increasing communication standards that we often presuppose.
I am currently an Speech Pathologist at Easteseals Southern California and am building my own private practice specializing in early intervention, social skills and advocacy for developmentally disabled individuals and their families.
